2024 SALE

March 6th @ 12:00pm (est)

all varieties will show out of stock until the sale goes live

Sale Info Highlights - please expand menus below and read fully before purchasing.

3/6 update: I have added purchase limits to a few varieties ahead of today’s sale. As I am a small farm, I don’t have thousands of tubers for every variety. In order to spread out the chance of more people being able to grab the more popular dahlias, I am adding a limit of 3 to certain dahlias. As there is no way for the website to restrict the number, this will be honor system - please don’t add more to your cart. Thank you!

• The final selection and availability of varieties may vary depending on the final weeks of storage. It is likely I will have a restock sale in mid to late April!
• All tubers were grown in our field in zone 7a.
• Qty of 1 = one single tuber. All photos were taken by us in our fields.
• Tubers have been stored in vermiculite, dusted with cinnamon, and will be shipped in vermiculite.
• I take immense pride in producing healthy, quality, plants. While not every plant is tested, I maintain a clean growing stock.
• Every tuber is guaranteed to have at least one viable eye at time of shipping.
• In the busyness of the summer growing season, there are a few varieties I failed to photograph or misplaced photos. I prefer to have photos to represent each growing year and a quick google search will work as I only use images I take for obvious copyright/respect reasons.

A note on shipping:
You will see three quantity based options during checkout - an attempt to keep shipping for just a few tubers as low as possible. Please select the correct shipping option for the number of tubers in your order. I will either invoice or refund for the difference if any errors occur. Read shipping info below for information on combining orders.

Thanks for looking and happy growing!

  • Sales are final, and are first come first serve. The checkout process does not hold items placed in your cart and your purchase isn’t guaranteed until completion of the checkout process. I can not modify orders once placed. I reserve the right to refund an order should something happen or I will contact you for possible substitutions of similar varieties.

I guarantee all tubers are true to type and have at least one viable eye (which may or may not be visible at the time of shipping). Once you take receipt of your shipment, I can not be responsible for tuber storage until planted, or guarantee performance of your plantings. If you are not already familiar with growing dahlias, please do your homework for your growing region (and remember - don’t water after planting until you see growth). If you have any concerns please contact me immediately so resolution can be a possibility!

  • Shipping will begin in mid March going through April, depending on location and weather.

Shipping is calculated based on the number of tubers purchased:
    1–5 tubers: $10.20
    6–12 tubers: $17.10
    13–30 tubers: $22.80

Please select the correct shipping option during checkout. If you select the incorrect option for your order I will invoice you through paypal for the difference prior to your order being shipped.

Your dahlia tuber babies will be packaged with love and care! Please open your shipment immediately upon receiving it. Please report any shipping damages or concerns to me within 48 hours of delivery!

I am only able to ship to the lower 48 states (+ district of columbia) and Alaska (sorry Hawaii!). All orders will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail. I will aim to ship orders towards the beginning of the week so your tubers ideally aren’t sitting over a weekend.

Please verify your shipping address is correct before submitting your order. If you find that there is an error, please contact me immediately. I will be shipping to the address provided otherwise and am not responsible for errors entered at checkout.

I am happy to combine orders before shipping begins and refund excess shipping costs at the end of the selling season (by June 1st). Once shipping begins, each order will be processed as they are received. Of course, once a package is scanned in and picked up by my mail carrier, it is in the hands of the postal service. For any issues with delivery, please contact your local post office.

  • I’m happy to answer any questions at snowcreekflora@gmail.com. I also welcome any photos of your blooms - we love to see it!
